True! My mom read me the Odyssey and the Iliad when I was a kid, as well as all of the Laura Ingalls Wilder books and stuff. I carried on into stuff like Les Mis and Roots and all of Shakespeare before I was in high school even. I just started reading and never stopped. I never got into Bronte/Austen/etc tho. That style of writing doesn’t work for me. :<

Good for you. My teachers tried to get me to read a lot of the Classics when I was young since I loved reading so much. But I never liked them, even now. *shrugs*
